Accreditation mode at the Assisi event to be held from 26 to 28 March

Assisi is preparing to welcome more than 2000 economists and entrepreneurs under 35 from all over the world to participate in “Economy of Francesco”, the event wanted by Pope Francis to be held in Assisi from 26 to 28 March.

"It's the event of the year. It is the awareness of young people that the world can change and go in a new direction: with human being, for human being. The numbers reveal - said the director of the press room of the Sacred Convent of Assisi and head of communication of Economy of Francesco, Father Enzo Fortunato - that it will be the first world event on social and economic justice. We are sure that this meeting will undermine the greats of the earth called to revise their perspectives and their horizons. It will be a warning and a prospect that humanity is unlikely to forget".

MEDIA ACCREDITATION

The request for accreditation to the event by journalists must reach the head of the Press Office, Roberto Pacilio, by sending an email to accrediti@sanfrancesco.org no later than Thursday 5 March at 6 P.M. indicating full details (name, surname, place and date of birth), letter from the Editor in Chief to which he belongs, job and telephone contacts. Those accredited to the Vatican press room must not send a letter from the director, but a copy of the accreditation card. The Press Office of the Sacred Convent of Assisi will provide journalistic, technical and logistical support. Twelve all news areas and two press rooms for daily briefings will be set up for the occasion and a meeting with the media will be held on 28 February to present the latest news about the event.

The event is organized by the Diocese of Assisi, the Seraphic Institute, the Municipality of Assisi and the Economy of Communion, in collaboration with the Franciscan Families.
