Thus said Sharon Stone when she arrived in Assisi, in a strictly private visit a few months ago, after visiting some refugee camps. A private meeting, very much desired by the American actress, who stopped at the tomb of St. Francis with the friars of the Basilica: "Here, I feel as if I went to visit friends, as if we shared a common experience we wanted to share".
